In May of this year, the United Nations Committee Against Torture bought up the issue of Facility 1391, a clandestine Israeli prison where Palestinian, Lebanese, and other Arab prisoners are detained and subjected to torture. The committee called upon Israel to grant the International Committee of the Red Cross access to this prison and demanded to know if there were other secret prisons in Israel.

An Australian Christmas is unique. We don’t hibernate indoors, and we don’t need to endure snow and freezing conditions. We celebrate with sunshine, fun, parties and BBQs out in the beautiful warm weather!
This year, I thought I would celebrate our special brand of Christmas by recording a fun Aussie Christmas carol of my own, called Christmas in Australia. Don’t worry, I’m not giving up my day job as a photographer – but you’ve got to have some fun!
I hope you enjoy this Christmas message as much as I enjoyed creating it for you – and please feel free to send this Aussie cheer to family and friends everywhere!
From all of us here at the Ken Duncan Group, we wish you a safe and happy Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
In the video below, Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly call for more taxes on the American people. O’Reilly argues in favor of a national sales tax while Beck calls for a VAT or value added tax on all products.
Beck, who likes to call himself a libertarian, says the tax will go to pay off the national debt. He wants a constitutional amendment forcing his VAT on an already over-taxed people. O’Reilly says a constitutional amendment will never fly and he wants Congress to impose additional taxation.
Beck sounds like Nancy Pelosi. She wants a VAT too.
If Beck and O’Reilly really want to get rid of the national debt they’d call for the elimination of the Federal Reserve. Since the establishment of the Federal Reserve in 1914, government debt has increased from 2.9 billion dollars to a staggering and mind-numbing 8 trillion dollars.
All income taxes collected by the government go to the private banking cartel through the Federal Reserve just to pay interest on government loans. The Federal Reserve creates money out of thin air by entering numbers in a computer and loans it to the government at interest.
In addition to paying the bankers, your tax dollars go to build a world government. So-called “transfer payments” go right to the World Bank, the United Nations, and the International Monetary Fund. As I write this, the globalists gathered in Copenhagen are plotting to steal even more money through a global carbon tax.
Private bankers have fleeced the American people for decades. Beck and O’Reilly should be calling for the immediate end of the Federal Reserve. Instead, they sound like the so-called liberals over at MSNBC and CNN, calling for more and apparently never-ending burdensome taxation on the American people.
Beck and O’Reilly should call the U.S. Treasury to print its own money, as stated in the Constitution. It is illegal and criminal for the government to allow the Federal Reserve to print our money and loan it back to us at interest.
Beck and O’Reilly should demand the Fed not be allowed to dictate monetary policy and jack with the money supply. The Federal Reserve has engineered every recession and depression since its inception. “The Federal Reserve definitely caused the Great Depression by contracting the amount of currency in circulation by one third from 1929 to 1933,” said Milton Friedman, Nobel Prize winning economist.
Instead they call for more taxation to be paid directly to the banksters.
Glenn Beck is not a libertarian. He is a shill for the Federal Reserve and the bankers. People who believe Glenn Beck is a patriot and follow his contrived political movement need to be aware of this. Glenn Beck is a Pied Piper leading the people in self-defeating circles. Beck’s task is to destroy the tea party movement and lead his hoodwinked followers back into the fold.
Beck’s VAT will not go to pay down the national debt. It will be used to pump even more wealth stolen from the American people into the coffers of the bankers.
Only an end of the Federal Reserve and the banker theft operation will free the people from never-ending and exponentially increasing government debt.
…over the past two hundred years the forces of domination have been slowly eroding the belief in and support for liberty.
This epic battle is documented in a speech delivered by the Secretary of Agriculture under President Eisenhower, Ezra T. Benson. He said:
“I have personally witnessed the heart-rending results of the loss of freedom. I have talked face-to-face with the godless Communist leaders. It may surprise you to learn that I was host to Mr. Khrushchev for a half-day when he visited the United States. Not that I’m proud of it. I opposed his coming then, and I still feel it was a mistake to welcome this atheistic murderer as a state visitor.
As we talked face-to-face, he indicated that my grandchildren would live under Communism. After assuring him that I expected to do all in my power to assure that his, and all other grandchildren, will live under freedom, he arrogantly declared, in substance:
‘You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright. But we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you; we’ll so weaken your economy until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.’”
Democrat lawmakers are attempting to pass a stealth increase in the $12.1 trillion cap on borrowing before the end of the year and are trying to sneak through an increase large enough so that they won’t have to vote again on the issue before next year’s midterm elections. Their bill — opposed by conservatives fortunate to find out about it — would permit a total federal debt of about $14 trillion at a time when President Obama is promising to reduce the debt and deficit during his administration.
In fact, the President — and Democrats in general — claims that the gargantuan health care package will decrease the deficit, although conservatives have yet to see evidence of such a reduction.
“This Democrat Party-run federal government is out of control and while talking like fiscal conservatives they are heading this country into bankruptsy,” claims political strategist Mike Baker.
“And why would they want to bankrupt their own nation? To rebuild it in their own Marxist-One World Government vision, that’s why,” warns Baker.
“One part of that speech that really annoyed me was that he described it as being a just war, harping back to the Christian just-war theory. And for him to try to claim that he’s following just-war theory which was originally Christian oriented is so far removed from reality.
And of course, he claims that one of his heroes is Gandhi, who really believed in peace. So it is so hypocritical.”

“The concept of a “just war” emerged, suggesting that war is justified only when certain conditions were met: if it is waged as a last resort or in self-defense; if the force used is proportional; and if, whenever possible, civilians are spared from violence.”
“In today’s wars, many more civilians are killed than soldiers; the seeds of future conflict are sown, economies are wrecked, civil societies torn asunder, refugees amassed, children scarred.”
Note: I highlighted some of the key points, as well as some points that aren’t true at all — if one knows the true history of wars.
Remarks by the President at the Acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize
Oslo City Hall
Oslo, Norway
1:44 P.M. CET
THE PRESIDENT: Your Majesties, Your Royal Highnesses, distinguished members of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, citizens of America, and citizens of the world:
I receive this honor with deep gratitude and great humility. It is an award that speaks to our highest aspirations — that for all the cruelty and hardship of our world, we are not mere prisoners of fate. Our actions matter, and can bend history in the direction of justice.
And yet I would be remiss if I did not acknowledge the considerable controversy that your generous decision has generated. (Laughter.) In part, this is because I am at the beginning, and not the end, of my labors on the world stage. Compared to some of the giants of history who’ve received this prize — Schweitzer and King; Marshall and Mandela — my accomplishments are slight. And then there are the men and women around the world who have been jailed and beaten in the pursuit of justice; those who toil in humanitarian organizations to relieve suffering; the unrecognized millions whose quiet acts of courage and compassion inspire even the most hardened cynics. I cannot argue with those who find these men and women — some known, some obscure to all but those they help — to be far more deserving of this honor than I.
But perhaps the most profound issue surrounding my receipt of this prize is the fact that I am the Commander-in-Chief of the military of a nation in the midst of two wars. One of these wars is winding down. The other is a conflict that America did not seek; one in which we are joined by 42 other countries — including Norway — in an effort to defend ourselves and all nations from further attacks.
Still, we are at war, and I’m responsible for the deployment of thousands of young Americans to battle in a distant land. Some will kill, and some will be killed. (more…)
