After ten years of war, it’s time for Americans to act decisively: we must end the wars and commit our resources to creating jobs and rebuilding the ramshackle infrastructure of our own country. As Eisenhower said: “Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and not clothed.”
