About Jeff Fenske

Welcome to ToBeFree (and OneCanHappen)!

My name is Jeff Fenske, and I’m writing from Anchorage, Alaska, where I moved to from the flatland of Minnesota in 1980.

For ten years, I’ve been sending out this info through an email list. A wonderful friend (who wants to remain anonymous) kept telling me I should start a blog, but I really didn’t know how. So for Christmas, without telling me until just before he handed me the reigns, he built this for me from my emails, and trained me how to maintain it. Now, I’m at the helm with him just looking over my shoulder, thousands of miles away.

This site, ToBeFree isn’t mainly about the freedom from a tyrannical government; though, this is an important issue that I seriously address. ToBeFree is ultimately about freedom to be free inside, deep within – resting – free from the oppression – even though the world around us may be in chaos. Which is kind of like the anti-revenge, 1972-75 Kung Fu series (now out on DVD), which had such a big impact in my life. No matter what Caine went through, he had peace inside.

“You have the weakness to defend your injury with killing. Have you not the strength to forgive?” - Caine

“…some men receive injury but return kindness.” - Master Po

Having been so influenced, still in a “Christian” high school, I decided to check out every religion until I found the one that could give me the power to walk in love no matter what.

I started by reading the Bible. And in Acts 16, I saw real life Caine’s in Paul and Silas. They had the power to love no matter what. Thus, I became free, dedicating my life to Christ.

But then I tried to find a ‘church’ that lined up with what I was reading. Has that been interesting! And I’ve actually seen some glimpses of the real thing, but there is always something that gets in the way….

Many say that ‘one’ can’t happen–Jesus’ heart-cry and call for us in John 17: that we may be ‘one’ with each other in Himself and the Father. ‘One’ is where there is fullness of joy as we abide in Him (John 15).

This is what Paul said should happen when all five types of the called-by-God-and-qualified (1 Tim. 3 & Tit. 1) church leaders do their job. This is supposed to be normal Christianity:

Eph. 4:11 He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, shepherds and teachers; 12 for the perfecting of the saints, to the work of serving, to the building up of the body of Christ; 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we may no longer be children, tossed back and forth and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in craftiness, after the wiles of error; 15 but speaking truth in love, we may grow up in all things into him, who is the head, Christ; 16 from whom all the body, being fitted and knit together through that which every joint supplies, according to the working in measure of each individual part, makes the body increase to the building up of itself in love. [from the World English Bible (WEB), which I'll use a lot because it's a good translation & royalty free]

Why isn’t this level of unity, fullness, even ‘perfection’ happening? Well, I believe this is the biggest matrix nut to crack–and it’s totally crackable. And we can do it, for I think this is mainly a doctrinal nut to crack, and it will also take some serious spiritual warfare. For our warfare is against demonic forces, not people.

And I think we’re almost there, especially if we work together, in Christ to get ‘er done.

Freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee————–dom!!!!!!!!!!!!

I appreciate all comments, suggestions––even criticisms. And if you’d like to write me directly, here is my address:

  3. Jeff, I am so incredibly excited for you. Praise God that you were given such a gift as this — to be able to share your wisdom, truth and your passions — and to have them go out into the world, in such a professional way. Many blessings to you, and all who read your heart-felt thoughts. I truly share your joy.

  7. Interesting reading. I, too am free. Kinda weird, but I was born in Alaska, Love Kung Fu the series, and am a Christian. I too have not found a perfect church, but as the man said, “if you find a perfect church, don’t go, you’ll just wreck it”…
Question for us all… we see what John described in the Bible on here now, and dates for the chip insertion as May 2008. Lots of talk but no plans to stop it. This is all over the net… people very angry at what the “elite” have done to our Constitution and our Country. But who will step forward and unite us to stop it?
And if “He” does, do we run the risk of “Him” becoming “The guy” John wrote about?
Oh, how badly this world needs a savior.

  8. Dear readers,

It’s about time I say something in response to these great comments. Sorry for the delay. Some aspects of running a public blog is still a bit awkward for me. Sharing significant parts of my life with anyone in the world who chooses to visit is a bit uncomfortable. But so far, so good, and I think the nature of the times we live in requires stepping out of my comfort zone in order to help bring about the change that is needed, so we can overcome during the likely difficult times ahead.

I thought I’d address all of the above comments here.

    First, to Daunmichelle:

Thank you for sharing your perspective and posting a question. So far, ToBeFree and OneCanHappen are definitely photo deficient, including those from Alaska. But this should change. I’m planning on trying my hand at professional, fine art, landscape photography, starting this year here in Alaska. And maybe I’ll try to include myself in some of the photos. [However, the camera I had anticipated would be available for this season probably won't be. So I'm kind of on a holding pattern.]

Regarding IHOP (International House of Prayer), I almost visited a few years back, but have only visited virtually, through their website. Wouldn’t this be great here in Anchorage, someday? People could even just come to hang out and study in this so cool environment. I would hope that the music would be more purely worship oriented, though—from our hearts to His. Then I think it would greatly succeed.

Thanks also to Suzy, Igoslo, Odale, and Chris for your kind encouragement!

And Matt. Your comment and “question for us all” got me into gear here. Thanks!

This “if you find a perfect church, don’t go, you’ll just wreck it” statement is in my opinion a mostly reverse-Christian concept. For the Ephesians-4 text I quote above calls us to be mature in Christ into a oneness with Him and each other that should be the standard of what the church should be.

This is what my OneCanHappen site is all about. I think the main problem with what has become Christianity in America is unbiblical doctrines that discourage ONE from happening. Once we get these ironed out, I think we’ll be well on our way. And I hope to then meet you in gloryland—where the joy of the Lord will be our strength, 24/7—no matter what happens in America. Can you dig it?

As far as who will unite us to stop the Mark of the Beast from happening on the fast track here in America, and how will he stay humble enough to not become the Antichrist:

Paragraph two of my “Let Us Be One” prophesy http://onecanhappen.wordpress.com/2008/01/07/a-kindness-that-i-want-to-flow-from-my-body says this.

“Do not hold grudges, My people. Get up and repent. The time is short. I will not hold back much longer the tide that is about to come.”

And part 25, “Now is the Time to Get Ready, Full of Me,” http://onecanhappen.wordpress.com/2008/01/07/now-is-the-time-to-get-ready-full-of-me also addresses how only if we get ready now will we be ready enough when it all comes down.

I think God is warning us that there isn’t anyone that can stop what is coming down. And only if we prepare now will we be ready for what is coming.

If there was a man who could have greatly slowed down the Beast system, I think it was Ron Paul. But those who call themselves “Christians” mostly dissed him, so now we’re still in the fast track that President Bush (supported by most “Christians”) really revved up.

The cool thing is that the faster America goes down, the hungrier many people will be for the only true remedy—which is to be led by Jesus Christ directly—to be free within and be one with each other no matter what happens. This is a glorious vision that we can soon experience.

And this will only happen when the leaders’ hearts are pure and their hands are clean. God won’t show up otherwise. God is withholding His glory until we get our act together. Then we’ll have church—and the world will know…! (Jesus’ prayer in John 17)

Let us be one—and may it happen soon! It’s up to us.

  10. Dariusz,

I remember our discussions about grandma’s creek well. And it’s great to hear how well your grandmother is doing in this apparently still pristine environment.

May we all live in ‘grandma’s creek’ no matter what comes down.

  11. Just wondering as to the state of Lindsey William’s health, as you know it. I once worked for the NSA and am familiar with some of the happenings of which he speaks and writes and I am very surprised if he is still alive. Would like to know the answer to that if you know.
    Thanks.

    Comment by David Reese — June 9, 2008 @ 8:16 pm

  12. David,

I don’t know Lindsey, personally, but apparently he’s doing great! In the radio program that I quote from http://tobefree.wordpress.com/2008/06/09/lindsey-williams-life-threatened-by-tycoon-for-speaking-out-about-the-non-energy-crisis, Jack McLamb said Lindsey is currently considering doing missionary work. Which is pretty good for a man of his age!

On the one hand, I think Lindsey has a handful of powerful people who seriously hate him and a lot of people who are praying FOR him, which I’m sure helps to protect him from spiritual attacks! Praise God!!

On the other hand, you may be more so talking about why they haven’t done something to him in the natural. It’s probably a good thing that he spoke out in many public forums his message, so the elite would realize that if an ‘accident’ would happen to him they’d be blamed.

But perhaps, now, Lindsey’s message has become such a huge threat to their oil manipulation and world domination agenda that they would have taken him out had he continued.

In the old days, I think a lot of people maybe laughed at him, which is what the elite want. But now, he has the full attention of those who do hear his message.

It’s possible that the oil tycoon Jack speaks of was actually doing Lindsey a favor by warning him. Jack didn’t really say it this way, but this is possible.

But similarily, I heard that Alex Jones and Jordan Maxwell were on ‘Coast to Coast AM’ last night talking about how they fear for their lives because of actual threats spoken against them—even though they’re also very public. Alex is especially public, but he is also wonderfully successful that he’s a huge thorn in their side.

    That’s my take,

  13. You said that you “decided to check out every religion until I found the one that could give me the power to walk in love no matter what..”

My question: How did you find Islam to be? And How deep was your research about it.

I really appreciate your outlook on life, especially your motto: “Hate Evil, Not People.”

    All the best!

    Comment by Frederick M — August 28, 2008 @ 9:59 pm

  14. Thanks very much, Frederick!

First, this motto: “Hate Evil, Not People” is in bold letters above the rear window of my car that I’ve had the NOHATE license plates on since 1995.

I started deeply researching the forgiving and ‘no hate’ themes after I saw the church I attended for many years virtually destroyed largely because of a lack of forgiving and loving each other “as ourselves”—Jesus’ standard.

My previous vehicle had 4GIVNG license plates (in Alaska, we only have room for six letters/numbers because of the low population), because I couldn’t find a ‘Forgiving‘ bumper sticker. I still can’t. But it’s interesting how ‘Forgiven’ seems to be a major bumper sticker theme, yet Jesus said we can’t be forgiven unless we first forgive—and hate and anger is off the charts in America in both Christians and non-Christians.

After I got the NOHATE license plates, I read in Psalms that we’re supposed to hate evil. So “Hate Evil, Not People” was birthed to clarify the “no hate” statement, because we are supposed to hate something—but NEVER people—even our worst enemy!

Paul said our warfare and wrestling is not against people, but against the devil and demonic forces. And these are the invisible forces that drive people (including ‘Christians’) to appear like they’re the real enemy. But people are being had. It’s all a con-job that we can’t see, and only the Bible has the answers to true freedom—deep internal joy no matter what!!!

About Islam, I only looked into Islam after I had already found the true source of love in Christ. I didn’t need to look further. And it’s heartbreaking to me to see so many people looking to other religions because they’ve been turned off by the current, largely unbiblical ‘Christianity’ that is prevalent in America. There are probably many Muslims that are far kinder than many who call themselves Christians. And I’m finding that I often get along better with agnostics than many in the current crop of Evangelicals. A person isn’t a going-to-heaven-Christian just because they’re born-again as I prove in Who Goes to Heaven Scriptures. A Christian is a follower of Christ.

Jesus said that Christians will be hated for actually doing or being good. And this is a thing to behold. For me, it happens many times every day, and I had no idea how fierce it would be. One pastor even admitted to me there is no one that bothered him more than I did. And it’s amazing how true James 3 is today about ‘Christians’ who curse people. And to deeply love the people who actively wish evil on me and hate me is the biggest challenge for me personally. And this is what Jesus and Stephen mastered. No enemy.

So I don’t spend much time talking about the other religions, for I think the main reason they are attractive to people now is because real Christianity hasn’t happened completely enough yet. For Jesus said that once ONE happens, “then the world will know.” Then others will see that life is in Christ, because we’ll shine, and our joy will be 100%—together!

Jesus actual words in John 17:

13 But now I come to you, and I say these things in the world, that they may have my joy made full in themselves. 14 I have given them your word. The world hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. …

20 Not for these only do I pray, but for those also who believe in me through their word, 21 that they may all be one; even as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us; that the world may believe that you sent me.

22 The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; 23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. 24 Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

    True Freedom!
